China Elevator Association Building Fire and Escape Committee (referred to as Fire & Evac) establishment meeting and technical seminar was successfully held in Huangshan, Anhui Province, representatives from elevator manufacturing enterprises, design institutes, research institutes, testing institutions and other sectors gathered together to witness the establishment of Fire & Evac.

The establishment of Fire & Evac will be committed to the improvement of fire performance closely related to elevators and the exchange and application innovation of building fire separation, safety evacuation and fire equipment support technology, promote the application and product technology progress of elevators in the field of fire protection, improve the disaster prevention and reduction ability of buildings, and promote the sustainable development of the industry.

Zhang Lexiang, Secretary General of China Elevator Association, Sun Xuan, Director of Building Fire Prevention Research Institute of China Academy of Building Science, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Committee of Beijing Building Mechanization Research Institute Co., LTD. (Former Deputy director of Building Fire Prevention Research Institute of China Academy of Building Science, senior expert in the field of building fire prevention) Lu Zhengang, Deputy director of Building Fire Prevention Research Institute of China Academy of Building Science Liu Wenli, Liu Songtao, Yuan Shasha, Hu Xinyang, Zhou Chunming, deputy secretary-general of China Elevator Association, and members of the building Fire and Escape Professional Committee of China Elevator Association attended the meeting. The inaugural meeting was presided over by Hu Xinyang, deputy Secretary-General of China Elevator Association.

Sun Xuan delivered a welcome speech, saying that the establishment of the Building fire and escape professional Committee aims to gather industry elites to jointly explore effective ways to solve the problems of building fire and escape, and through the joint efforts of everyone, we will be able to build an indestructible security line.

The inaugural meeting and technical seminar of Fire & Evac was successfully concluded in a harmonious and warm atmosphere. The participating members have said that the conference time is tight but rich in connotation, in the future, to take the establishment of Fire & Evac as an opportunity, give full play to the advantages of the group, under the guidance of China Elevator Association and the joint efforts of all members, to contribute professional strength to the industry and society, and improve the people's living and travel safety.
